They have really good food the people that work there are really friendly as well I would recommend to eat there :)

Service was fantastic. Our waitress was fast and the food didn’t take long to make. The food itself was god but not anything over the top fantastic. We were able to make many customizations which was amazing. The price was cheap and you got a lot of food for the price. The old diner look of the place was also a nice surprise.

Awesome diner. Love the burgers and the chili covered fries you can get. I take my wife here all the time. Great service. Never had a problem here or had any dishes that I didn't like!

I love Ernie's! Breakfast is my favorite meal here, pictured is my last order. Chipped Beef Gravy on pancakes (!) with a side of hash browns topped with their hot dog chili.For lunch, get "one with," a hot dog with chill, mustard, and diced onion. I've tweaked my order a bit so I get mine "well done, light onions, extra mustard." A small chili cheese fries is the perfect complement!

This was a delightful experience! Love the humor and cozy, home town feel of the place. We came here in early october and were served in less than ten minutes. The food was delicious, crispy hot chilli cheese fries and perfectly cooked burgers. (I took a bite out of mine before I remembered the picture. Sorry!)

Great diner food at good prices, longtime Gettysburg business

We went there for their world famous hot dog. I was disappointed. The sauce was quite dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. On the plus side, my wife's burger was very good and the service was excellent.

A friend and I had lunch here.The food was great, the atmosphere was as a quaint downtown diner, and a price that can't be beat, was all you could ask for.This should be a part of an all-inclusive dinning experience at least twice a month.Don't miss out on this place!

I've gone here since I was a kid and it was always a such a great day! The staff is always so nice and the food is delicious! I've moved away but I still drive back every once in a while just for their hot dogs!

A local suggested this place to us. We were visiting from out of town. They were wonderful! They skinned the hot dog for my little one and the chicken pieces were perfectly crisp. Definitely a good spot. I would come here regularly if we lived nearby.

Texas dogs don't get any better than this!First, the place is absolutely spotless. And they have modified seating per COVID guidelines. Bathrooms are extremely clean. The waitress was spot on. She catered to my son, gave us time to really investigate the menu, and even brought a plate of fries for my son when she sensed he didn't want the chile fries I ordered. Service was quick. Very pleased with the folks and service here.Now for the food. The hot dog comes the way you like it. I had the Texas chile dog. Very well presented, chile is mild and onions are finely cut. The chile fries are over the top! And I didn't sense any salt on the fries. I like that because it lets me put salt on according to my tastes. Downside for some may be that they aren't open on Sunday. Well, I have no problem with that. Obviously, the owner and staff produce high quality food at a very reasonable price all week. Sunday is for rest.

I loved it, I'm not a big fan of onions so I just knocked a few off this is really a hidden gem the loaded fries were fantastic I should have asked for a side of sour cream.

The place actually is one of my dads favorite places to eat at, but they make a lot of mistakes on the billing of food. I personally purchased a 100.00 gift card for my dad for Christmas and the older woman who works there only put 50.00 on card which I used my own money to save up and buy for him because he eats there every Saturday night. The first time after Christmas my dad did not notice the mistake so I threw the receipt away the 2nd Saturday my dad noticed the mistake and was livid. At first they were gonna fix it and now they won’t take responsibility for it. Unfortunately I will be telling my dad and we won’t be eating there or others I know won’t either.

Fun place to grab a meal. Prices are reasonable. I've cold beer goes great with their fabulous old fashioned hamburgers. Super friendly and attentive staff. Check out their humorous signage in the shop. Had a good time!

We are local and this is one of our favorite places to eat. Prices are great, service and food is always good. We always get the Texas hot dogs, love them!

The food was DELICIOUS and the service was even better. The waiter went above and beyond to make sure our experience was amazing and we are going back for breakfast tomorrow. we highly recommend this place!

The staff is very friendly. Never really too busy so it's a nice place to go when just you or maybe one other person needs to find someplace quiet to eat some comfort food.

Stopped by here three times! Food was great and reasonably priced, but what kept us coming back was the friendly waitstaff. Karen was sweet as pie and kept our coffee cups full!

We haven't been there in years. The place looks Great! The food was very good. 1 of 2 places that makes my bacon perfect! We thought the price was a little high for breakfast, but overall a Great Experience!
